— SYNOPSIS
"A miracle of an instant, or an eternity of curse?" Korean cultural critic K invites M — the audience — to his home to share a dilemma about Baek Sung-soo, a genius musician in his care. Each choice M makes changes how K behaves, what he says and how the play ends, and slowly awakens Baek Sung-soo, who has lost both his violent instinct and his genius.

The production was selected for the 9th Korea Emerging Directors Festival (2022) and for the Korea Arts Creation Academy's Next Generation Artists program in multidisciplinary art (2021). Unlike the 2019 version, it was built like a live voting show: the audience voted in real time with remote controls, and the dialogue, structure and ending changed with the result. Casting the audience as M, with the actor speaking to them directly throughout, kept the central question in their hands: where is the line between an artist's humanity and their creativity?
